Hearts of the Father Outreach was founded by John and Libby Moritz. It was birthed out of great personal tragedy. That tragedy spurred the Moritzes to deep soul searching which included the question: “God, why are we here?” The answer led them to start this ministry for children. Hearts of the Father Outreach has a home for children in Ghana, West Africa, and one in Tamil Nadu, Southern India. In addition, HFO now has a number of programs to place orphans with families. These programs are similar to the foster care idea found in the United States.

In His Steps is passionate about transforming lives spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, economically and socially. With Jesus as our example, our vision is to see people set free from affliction, deprivation and oppression.
We accomplish these goals through a multi-faceted, holistic approach, addressing both practical and spiritual needs as we share God's love with Cambodians young and old.

An outreach of the Cooperative Christian Ministries of Schodack (CCMS) of which House of Praise is a member, the Anchor meets the needs of those right here in Schodack  providing food, clothing, and healthcare products.  
This time of year we also provide coats, gloves, Thanksgiving Dinner and Christmas toys for needy families.

Founded 70 years ago with the charter “soup, soap & salvation” the Rescue Mission has care for the homeless and hungry in downtown Albany. They bring the good tidings of the gospel and practical care providing 30,000 meals a year. They have recently added transitional housing for those who have come through their discipleship and addiction recovery programs.  These apartments provide a safe and affordable environment for their residents to begin to reintegrate back into society.

Serving Women, Saving Babies (Recently merged with Alight Care Center) With offices in Albany, Buffalo & Rochester, Compass Care provides a host of free services to women including: pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, adoption referrals, STD tests and post abortive care. For over 40 years Compass Care has provided reproductive care to women in upstate NY with pro-birth options. The “good tidings” to pregnant women that they aren’t alone and they have options.
