Hearts of the Father Outreach was founded by John and Libby Moritz. It was birthed out of great personal tragedy. That tragedy spurred the Moritzes to deep soul searching which included the question: “God, why are we here?” The answer led them to start this ministry for children. Hearts of the Father Outreach has a home for children in Ghana, West Africa, and one in Tamil Nadu, Southern India. In addition, HFO now has a number of programs to place orphans with families. These programs are similar to the foster care idea found in the United States.

In His Steps is passionate about transforming lives spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, economically and socially. With Jesus as our example, our vision is to see people set free from affliction, deprivation and oppression.
We accomplish these goals through a multi-faceted, holistic approach, addressing both practical and spiritual needs as we share God's love with Cambodians young and old.

Founded 70 years ago with the charter “soup, soap & salvation” the Rescue Mission has care for the homeless and hungry in downtown Albany. They bring the good tidings of the gospel and practical care providing 30,000 meals a year. They have recently added transitional housing for those who have come through their discipleship and addiction recovery programs.  These apartments provide a safe and affordable environment for their residents to begin to reintegrate back into society.

Alight Center is a nonprofit organization serving women and families who are facing unexpected or unsupported pregnancies. Through compassionate and confidential care, Alight provides cost-free pregnancy testing, ultrasound confirmation, pregnancy options consultations, educational resources, and practical support. Their goal is to walk alongside women and families during difficult or uncertain seasons, providing the information, encouragement, and resources they need to make informed decisions and move forward with hope and confidence. Alight Center is supported by individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations throughout the local community. 

Arise & Build Community Ministries was founded in 1999 as the local missions arm of Victorious Life Christian Church. Its mission is to serve the needs of urban families and strengthen the community through Christian outreach, practical assistance, and community development programs. Arise & Build supports a variety of ministries, including Alight Care Center, Provisions Community Food and Storehouse, Edify Young Adult Ministry, His Table, and Women of Valor, helping individuals and families through food assistance, discipleship, community meals, pregnancy support, and other essential services.
