FALL 2025 semester

New Testament Survey is an overview of the 27 books found in the New Testament, emphasizing their historic settings and thematic content. Each book is highlighted for its special contribution to the rest of Scripture, and its relationship to the other books. It will also help the student answer the question, what does the New Testament mean for us today. 

The Epistle to the Romans is considered by many scholars to be the hallmark of Pauline literature. In it Paul presents his material in such a way that the reader arrives at the exact conclusion that he desires them to have. The scope of the book covers all aspects of the work of redemption, from conviction to glorification. It also shows that the work of God is consistent, whether among the Jews or the Gentiles. No other book gives as complete and clear of an overview of the process of salvation as this Epistle. 

When Jesus left earth, He made it clear that the Holy Spirit would be the key to us fulfilling Christ’s purposes in and through our lives. This course will provide a greater understanding of the theological as well as practical experience of the Christian believer in the spirit-filled life.
