Connect Groups are the lifeblood of the House of Praise.
Our belief is that “We’re not a church WITH groups, but a church OF groups.”
This means most ministry through the Connect Groups.
We believe that discipleship takes place in the context of meaningful relationships. Connect Groups consist of a small group of people (less than 20) from House of Praise, that meet weekly, for 60 to 90 minutes, to grow spiritually and to connect with new friends.
Connect Groups at the House of Praise are semester based. Each semester is 8-10 weeks long. This keep helps keep the groups and the leaders fresh, while allowing you to try different groups without have a 'weird break up' talk. "You know I like you're group, I just want to check out this other one..." Lol.
Some groups are activity based such as hiking, others are traditional Bible studies but there's one right for you. There are In-Person or Online Groups. Your Choice!!
